Appointment System

The practice offers a range of different types of appointments including: -

Routine Appointments

Can be made up to 5 weeks in advance.

Urgent Appointments

If you have an urgent medical condition and require an appointment on the same day, there is a nominated GP/Nurse Practitioner to deal with your needs.

Telephone Appointments

Are available daily. You may be offered a telephone appointment if you are requiring:
o A continuation sick note
o Test results
o General health advice

Early morning appointments

The practice offers appointments from 7am on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Late evening appointments

On a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening you can obtain an appointment with a GP between 18:30 – 20:00.

Patients who do not attend for appointments

We operate a very strict policy on missed appointments and you may be asked to leave the list if you miss 3 appointments in a 6-month period without letting us know. The number of missed appointments is displayed in the waiting area to remind all patients how much time is being wasted.
