Our reception team is available to help you with appointments and enquires. They can deal with you face-to face or over the telephone between the hours of 08:30 – 18:30 Monday – Friday. All information is treated in absolute confidence.
Please note: Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 12:00pm – 2:00pm is for emergencies only.
   
Nursing Team
   
The nursing team are available via appointment five days per week. They offer a variety of clinics, and provide a triage service for patients who require urgent medical attention.

Nurse Practitioners are qualified nurses who are able to diagnose and treat a variety of minor illnesses. In some cases they are able to prescribe.
   
District Nurses
   
The district nursing service is provided by the Eastern Wakefield Primary Care Trust and is attached to the practice. Care is provided within a community setting and in in-house clinics.
   
Midwives
   
Midwifes offer care during pregnancy and after birth to all patients registered with the practice. On registering with the midwife you will be given more information on the roles of the midwife, GP, health visitor and all clinics you will need to attend during your pregnancy.
   
Health Visitors
   
The health visitors attached to the surgery offer a variety of services:
bulletWell Baby Clinic: Held every Wednesday (13:00 - 15:30)
This clinic offers the opportunity for you to bring your baby for weight /growth checks and discusses parenting issues with the health visitor. This clinic is for well babies only - if your child is unwell they need an appointment with a GP.
bulletChild Health Assessment: This involves regular assessment of children up to the age of five years old by the health visitor and GP.
