What is EMIS Access?
Our medical information software provider (EMIS) now has a service
whereby patients can book their own appointments online. This service is
called Emis Access.
As from the 1st December the practice will be rolling out the software.
As a patient you will be able to view, book and cancel appointments at
the GP surgery from home, work or on the move - wherever you can connect
to the internet.
Emis Access is not just an appointment service, other functionalities
include:

Ordering repeat prescriptions

Altering your personal details
|

Messaging facility - You can send
a message to the practice. This could be used to check if results
have been received etc. |
Security of Information
All information contained on Emis Access is protected using the highest
standard of internet security, and the on-line signup form is also
secure.
Before Using Emis Access
Prior to using the facilities you must register your personal details.
How to register

Obtain an activation letter - By
calling into the practice.

Go to
www.ashgrovesurgery.co.uk
and click on the link “Emis Access”

Follow the on-screen instructions
and using details from the activation letter register your personal
details.
Ready for use
Once registered simply log on with your practice ID, patient ID and
password. You can now view, cancel or make appointments, send a message
to the practice or order your repeat medication.
