The practice offers a range of different types of appointments including:

Routine Appointments

Can be made up to 5 weeks in advance.

Urgent Appointments

If you have an urgent medical condition and require an appointment on the same day then you will be added on to the triage list and a GP or nurse will call you back to offer treatment or advice over the phone or book an appointment for you.

Telephone Appointments

Are available daily. You may be offered a telephone appointment if you are requiring:

  • A continuation sick note
  • Test results
  • General health advice

Early Morning Appointments

The practice offers appointments from 07:00 on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Late Evening Appointments

On a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening you can obtain an appointment with a GP from 18:30 - 20:00.

Patients Who Do Not Attend For Appointments

We operate a very strict policy on missed appointments and you may be asked to leave the list if you miss 3 appointments in a 6-month period without letting us know. The number of missed appointments is displayed in the waiting area to remind all patients how much time is being wasted.
